My name is Kenji Mori. I grew up in Matsumoto, a quiet mountain town in Nagano, Japan - before life pulled my family back and forth between Japan and the west coast of the US more times than I can count. My auntie joined us for the journey on most of those moves - a lifelong weaver who I used to sit beside for hours, watching her hands work until she finally gave in and taught me herself.

Around the same time I was obsessed with manga. Long before I could read the words I'd just sit with volumes in my lap staring at the panels - the expressions, the linework, the way a single page could make you feel everything. That love grew into anime and never left.

Kenji Mori Blankets is what happens when those two worlds collide. Every blanket carries both - my auntie's craft and my love for this art form. I pour real care into every piece and I hope when you hold one you can feel that.

What started as pure anime devotion has grown way past what I ever expected. The demand from all of you pushed me to branch out - video games, American animated shows, sports, movies and TV, and more keep finding their way onto the loom now. Different fandoms, same care.
